So my last post was 4 days prior to Thanksgiving... It's January 15th. I don't really know what to say (type). I'm a slacker...We had a crazy busy December building up to Christmas...Christmas was super fast and I'm embarrassed to say we took zero pictures (isn't that awful!). New Years I was sick and felt like doing nothing but going to bed so not much to post about... We all went back to our normal schedule/routine and that felt great. I had my 33rd birthday this past week. Just another birthday - I feel a bit older... but am super content with my life so it wasn't dramatic or anything. It was just a nice day! The only crazy thing is we've had the warmest winter I can remember in years...except for my birthday...yep got snow that night before and it was super cold that day...in the teens. We had 60's on Christmas and New Year's, but leave it my birthday to ensure we are in fact in January... in case anyone forgot - I kept telling everyone, "Just be glad it was the year I was born...we had a blizzard that year!" Yeah like anyone thought that it was better than a blizzard that day...snow is snow people :) So yeah it's January 15th. Middle of January. Before you know it I'll be telling you it's Curt's birthday in March...then Memorial Weekend...then 4th of July! on and on and on! These years just go by sooo fast anymore - can't hardly believe it!
So here are a few things just to wrap up the year end + some things we've done since the first of the year... in list form. Because I love lists...can't get enough of 'em!
1. Got Curt a bike for xmas - he loves it - can't wait to get out on the roads!
2. Noah and Mark are crazy and make me laugh everyday with what they say and do, but are becoming more and more brotherly when they play. Super neat to see that relationship developing.
3. Got sick over xmas break and usual - my cough sounded like a seal...literally. Curt could hear the echo in my chest.
4. Had a great birthday, the boys sang to me in the morning which was so sweet! Curt made dinner and dessert and rocked it...his un-disclosed new year's resolution is to cook more often!
5. Working on becoming 'fluent' at Pinterest... it's tricky, but super fun and I think I can find a week's worth of recipes on there each and every week!
Ok that about wraps it up for now... here's a pic of the boys, because I love 'em :)
