Mark is 2!

Yeah typing it out doesn't make it any easier...Mark is 2...two years...730 days...really more than that if you consider the pregnant 10mos...  the little boy is a firecracker...he doesn't care what others think...he'll growl at you like a lion and i truly believe that is his way of saying "hi, how are you!"  he is stubborn as any little boy  I've ever met...if he doesn't want to do (or rather wants to do it) he's gonna make it hell until his way is met...and yes we're just at 2...haven't even gone through the "terrible" twos...ahh...life could be come even more interesting soon!  he loves to dance...put a good drum beat on and he likes to jump up and down and wave his arms up and down...he's my dance partner.  He's recently begun sing-songing all of our names while riding in the car... 'mommaaaaaaaa, nnnnnooooahhhhh, ME, daddddyyyyyyyyyyy"  it's pretty stinking cute...very elongated syllables for everyone but "me"...short and sweet - just like our Mark...short and super sweet...a smile that could melt your heart...or stop you from being upset with him and cause you to laugh which really makes disciplining him super fun (sarcasm!)  he loves to be with his brother...and gets super defensive with anyone that tries to take his attention or encroach on his play time with him...example of this...we were at the pool tonight and Noah met his friend from school there...Mark wasn't having it...pointed his finger at her and screamed "No!  Nnnnoooah ME!"....pretty stinking cute...I hope he always feels this way - always always always!

His birthday party was in no other word, but chaos...its so cool as my friends and family that have children that are getting older - it goes from 'oohs and ahhs' at the babies to "Quit running in the house!  Don't push him off the couch!"  Yes I yelled, but looking back on it - it's pretty awesome :)
