better late than snow...

so who would've thought it - all the snow for the entire "winter" season in the last two weeks of February...yeah didn't see that coming either, but that's Kansas for ya - wait three days and the weather will change and boy did it!
Here are some pics...1st snow had about a foot to 18 inches.

First view - open land - never before touched white stuff! 

Noah loved it - was super cold, but had a blast!  Mark on the other hand poor kid did not have decent boots or pants and got cold quickly...looks pretty pathetic right?

all I see is "there are no snow days for trash men"

Probably one of the nice faces Curt made during the snow blowing...doesn't say much does it?

Again Noah is having a ball, Mark just standing there looking at Daddy...wanting to go inside where it's warm...

whatever brother can do I can do too!

Forming snow balls...I think Curt got wailed on after I took this...

14 inches....sheesh!

such a hard worker...Curt, not the snow blower...the snow blower was pretty lazy in my opinion - he should have been fired!

Few things I realized about this snow storm:

1. We need to get our snow blower serviced - post haste - it is sucking air in the fuel lines and it putt-putts a lot and then dies...pretty frustrating when you do well all throughout the driveway and then get to the end and it won't stay on...

2. Noah is a trooper - whatever Curt asked him to do he was right there willing to help.  He shoveled where the snow blower didn't go or didn't completely get it all.

3. Mark is a wimp like his mother and doesn't like spending too much time out there in the cold/wetness..  It could very well be his age...as it could very well be my age as well.

4. I love my boys very much and was so proud of all of them for getting out there and getting that messy white stuff cleaned off so that we could go to work (well Daddy could - Momma like I said before is a wimp and wasn't going into work with all that craziness on the roads!).

5. I like snow days and having the boys home - playing, watching movies, relaxing...I promise I only got cabin fever after the second full day...haha :)
