to infinity and beyond!

oh my goodness! where to begin! oh yeah the good stuff! WE WENT TO DISNEY WORLD! WE SAW MICKEY MOUSE! WE HAD A BLAST! and that was just on wednesday:)

Ok so let's REALLY start at the beginnging... flew on a an airplane on Sunday (Halloween) and I do adore Southwest on this holiday because yes you guessed it..."FREE DRINKS" and of course Curt and I partook...actually he did and we shared the rum...yum...just enough to cut the edge:) Thank you Southwest...really for all mothers - THANK YOU! The flight really was super easy - I have got the most easy going, "whatever", go with the flow kids ever created - i know you are all jealous. :) Got there... got to pick our car...went with a Kia Sorento (can you believe that it had the most trunk space between a GMC Terrain, Nissan Pathfinder & Jeep Caliber)....yeah me either. Monday we spent most of the day driving around, no launch that day - got postponed to Tuesday, went to Downtown Disney (mini Disney park, basically for the shopaholics and ride-o'phobes). It was fun, Noah loved - they had a train he was set for life:
By this time I had MICKEY F-E-V-E-R! I was soooo ready to go see him! Frankly I didn't care what it cost - we were down there - we were gonna go! So like always Curt to the rescue - he went to the concierge desk at the hotel and the gal said "oh i can get you 2 tickets for $90" - I was like "yes please!"...Curt signed us up and boy did he sign us up! Little did I realize that by doing this we were agreeing to sit through a 90min presentation/sales pitch for a time share....sheesh - really? parents paying for two kids in daycare - were they high? did they really think we have oodles of expendable cash? maybe they did - we were down there? who knows... so this 90min presentation turned into 3 hours! oh yeah...my poor Noah had doughnuts, juice, cookies all by 1pm... and 1pm we were outta there...we were all tired, cranky, not really realizing we were done and would be going to the happiest place on earth the next day! The funniest part of the whole day was this: we were walking out of the sales office, Noah being tired and out of it from the sugar overload stopped in front of me pushing Mark in the stroller...he turns around, fists clenched and says with such frustrated desperation: "god dang-it momma, you ran over me with the stroller!" Like i had just committed a crime against all that was good...well it about made me pee my pants...laughing so hard...he was so darn cute - it was the only part of the trip that i wish i would've had on camera..:) that was basically the end of the day - we went back to the hotel...it rained most of the afternoon.

Wednesday! MK-day! We got up around 9am (YES 9AM! I can't hardly believe it either, this was par for the course this week), got around, out the door by 11am, ate Subway and finally arrived at the park by 12:30! I know we've wasted about 3 hours since the park opens at 9am, but really I wasn't sweating it because I wanted to stay for the electric parade that they do when it gets dark...well the don't do that anymore - they do FIREWORKS and let me just tell you...i would go and watch that show every single night if i could - it is THAT good! It choreographed to a little story with Jiminey Cricket and tons of stuff about wishes, etc. It is just fantastic! If i knew how to put a video on here I would upload the bit i recorded on my phone! Here's some pics of Magic Kingdom:

So Thursday...again NO LAUNCH...it poured all day, apparently they won't launch if there is a chance (CHANCE!) of rain within 20miles of the launch - Curt says its because of the pictures they have to take with the telephoto lenses to ensure any debris hitting the shuttle, etc - I guess rain/clouds = no visibility? You'd think with all those rocket scientists over there they'd have invented some camera that could take pictures through the clouds/rain? Guess that's not what they are paid for...:)

So we decided to go to the beach...yep the beach on a rainy day is better than no beach any day right! We got out...let Noah dip his toes in ....and wouldn't you know...as the water rushed back...it took him too and plop, splash, whoosh...we were soaked:) Good thing mom thought to bring an extra outfit:) I get 5pts for that! He had a blast - Mark just hung out in the carseat under a towel...poor kid...

Flew back on Friday - did fantastic once again, Noah had another movie marathon on the ol' iPAD and Mark the little angel slept the whole way home... I swear I don't know why I worry so much...I don't know why I can't sleep... everything worked out....everything was fine and easy and totally worth it! I think I had people praying for me...I think some people said two...the knew i'd need it:) Thank you - much appreciated - you know who you are and it will come back 10-fold:)

And a couple more things... Mark is eating rice cereal now! Taking it like a champ - totally knows what to do! Noah woke up the other morning...cracked me up once again...says when his eyes open before anything else..."Momma is Harry the Potter on?"...I say 'oh did you watch that last night with daddy?' he replies, 'oh momma he rode the train!'.... jeez...of course he did:) gotta love it:) peace out - !
