every year i stress ridiculously about Christmas pictures and Christmas cards - why? i mean really - why? i get tons of cards every year and they are just cards - no photos, no letters telling us about the family through the year...just a tree or snowman or angel and a "merry Christmas ... so why do i freak out after thanksgiving if we don't have a picture ready to upload and create the most cute/magical/funny/endearing card ever? i am a control freak...ridiculous right - yeah curt thinks so too...
so here's what we did - well what i decided... let's just take a cute, smiling picture of the boys and call it good...curt didn't hesitate to say 'um yeah great idea'.... 6 pictures later - we have what i call one of our best cards ever...i mean the medium of the photo is undoubtedly of the two best looking boys ever! feast your eyes on my handy work!
Now those are the "good" ones...everyone smiling, facing the camera...paying attention. But of course we had some "crazy, fun" ones because what fun would that be?? Honestly i can't tell which i like better because both show off their personalities so well!
On a different subject...do you see my homemade tree skirt!? Its better now as it's been washed - it's a rag tree skirt so the edges are fluffy and show white/blue/red - it's awesome! i'd still like to add an iron-on monogram, but not in any hurry this year...i think it'll be nice to have through the years...
