We had his "buddy" party at Chuck E Cheese and it was super easy and fun for ALL of us...wink wink:) this is the part II. Sadly I took zero pictures of the family party which would have been the part III... next year will be better...I promise!
Typical pizza/cupcake fare which was great... and lots o' tickets and tokens... which means lots of fun with the million games to choose from in a nice big area...honestly most of the kids ran around by themselves with no real one-on-one supervision... i felt like it was pretty safe as they watch the people going in and coming out like hawks...

the ticket blaster...the kid talked about this for weeks prior and a few days after...huge wind tunnel to catch as many tickets as you possibly could to get the prizes at the counter... |

It was really a great time...the super sweet kid said to me on the way home, exhausted..."best birthday ever momma!"...can't beat that now can you?
Happy Birthday my sweet peanut! Six things I love about you:
1. Always caring about everyone else around you...you know when someone is feeling down or hurting and always there to comfort them with a hug, rub of the arm or a smile.
2. You are trying so hard to do well in school...and I can see in your eyes that you are "getting" how to read and how much fun that is going to be for you.
3. You are so excited to meet your new brother...
4. You take good care of Mark and try to show him how to be kind, safe, and of course be silly and have fun!
5. You are such a social butterfly - you have met so many nice people at school this year and know everyone by their name and always say hi, give a handshake or a hug!
6. You are still little...still like to cuddle in the evenings with us while watching cartoons, still like to be tucked into bed...I know a lot of that will change in the next few years, but I am happy I can still do a lot of that for you for a while longer.
