We had a good Christmas as far as gifts were concerned... I got items that I truly needed and will use through out the entire year... I know it shouldn't really be useful stuff, but to me those are the things that I usually have trouble buying myself...like the ice cream scoops...the broken ones we had "worked", but they were annoying...hard to clean...I know pretty ridiculous... so many have far worse in the world to deal with than a hard to clean ice cream scoop. I feel very lucky to have that problem... lots of people in my life work really hard all year long (including myself) to have such petty problems.
The boys were very pleased with Santa's handy work also...thank goodness because Santa worked pretty hard coming up with ideas and putting the gifts together... like 4 hours of putting a certain red kitchen gift together...that thing had so many bolts, screws, pieces and one measly allen wrench between Santa's two helpers...

This year was sure crazy and fun and fast and emotional and tiring and hopeful and exciting and most of all blessed... what a blessing my family is to me...I cannot wait to see what 2014 brings...hoping all of what I just said about 2013 and much much more!
